EDINBORO — I. Patricia Mukina, 83, of Edinboro died Friday, July 12, 2013, at Edinboro Manor.

Born in Meadville on April 27, 1930, she was a daughter of the late William P. Flynn II and Esther McMullen Flynn. She married Frank P. Mukina on Sept. 28, 1951, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2001.

Pat was primarily a homemaker who, along with her husband, raised seven boys and operated the family farm. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of Americas Court Erie No. 515 and the Shadbush Club. She was a lover of music, arts and flowers.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Daniel Mukina; and two brothers, William P. Flynn III and Mickey Flynn.

Her surviving family consists of six sons, Michael Mukina and wife, Kerry, of Meade, Colo., John Mukina and wife, Patty, of Edinboro, Gary Mukina and wife, Anh-Tu, of Geneva, Ohio, Frank Mukina and wife, Penny, of Mooresville, N.C., Thomas Mukina and wife, Lynne, of Ashtabula, Ohio, and David Mukina of Conneaut, Ohio; also, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received by the family at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 128 Sunset Drive, Edinboro, on Monday morning from 9 until the time of the funeral Mass at 11. The Rev. Father William Sutherland will be celebrant. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery in Crossingville.
