Mary Jane Forro Speelman


LINESVILLE — Mary Jane Forro Speelman, 76, of 7228 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville, passed away on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 5, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Mary Wolf Herhuth. She married George Speelman; he preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2010.

She retired as a purchasing agent with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

She was a member of Linesville United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake Park Fire Hall, Linesville Veterans of Foreign Wars and Linesville American Legion. She enjoyed her family and playing bingo.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Jo Burns and her husband, Bryan, of Owensville, Ohio, Debra Ann Forro of Linesville, and Teresa Marie O’Malley and her husband, Edward, of Linesville; two granddaughters, Brittany S. Burns and Bobbie Jo Seminatore; three great-grandchildren, Dominic and Julie Seminatore, and Allison Burns; three sisters, Bernice Peters, LaVerne Evanko and Ruth Bowden; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; four sisters, Millie, Lois, Carol and Dorothy; and three brothers, Carl, Bill and George.

Friends may call Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville.

The funeral is Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Dennis Lawton of Linesville United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in Linesville Cemetery.
