Herbert Hoover Cadle, 84, of Conneautville, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at Rolling Fields Inc.
He was born Nov. 19, 1928, to the late Homer and Garnet Cadle in Meadowcreek, W.Va. He was married to the late Janice Adkins.
He was a foreman for Midland Ross Co. in Cleveland, Ohio, for 20 years.
Herbert liked to listen to bluegrass music. He was very active in the lives of his grandchildren. He enjoyed attending their sporting events and especially enjoyed the trips they took together to West Virginia.
He is survived by one daughter, Theresa Nicholas of Albion; and nine grandchildren, Shawn Smith of Franklinville, N.Y., Christopher Hoover of Conneautville, Tony Smith of Albion, Jody Holliday of Springfield, Jenny Hoover of Conneautville, Joshua Holliday of Springfield, Kelly Hoover of Conneautville, Kyle Hoover of Conneautville, and Travis Bartholomew of South Carolina, who is currently stationed in South Korea.
In addition to his wife, Herbert is preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Hoover and Bonnie Hall; one grandson, Jason Holliday; one brother, Jimmy Cadle; and one sister, Betty Byrd.
Arrangements have been entrusted to White-Cool Funeral Home, Gina M. McCauley, funeral director, 1405 Main St., Conneautville.
Friends and relatives are welcome to pay their respects on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral will follow at 6 p.m.
Interment will be private in Rundell’s Cemetery.
