CONNEAUTVILLE — Maxine L. Calvin, 93, formerly of Meadville, passed Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Rolling Fields, Conneautville.

She was born in Meadville on Oct. 11, 1919, a daughter of the late Carl and Floye Kightlinger Rounds. She was married to the late Dr. Charles Edward Calvin; he passed May 10, 1985.

Mrs. Calvin was a clerical worker and had worked at the Crawford County Courthouse. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She enjoyed music, crossword puzzles and baking.

Mrs. Calvin is survived by a daughter, Deborah and her husband, Kurt Sunderman, of Warren, Ohio; three grandchildren, Zachary Sunderman of Warren, Alex Torok of Meadville and Sean Torok of Meadville. Also surviving is a sister, June Allen of Terre Haute, Ind.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, was a daughter, Diane L. Torok; and two brothers, Wilbur Rounds and Carl Rounds.

Interment will take place in Kiser Hill Cemetery.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 15315 Harmonsburg Road, Meadville, Pa. 16335.

Mrs. Calvin’s funeral arrangements are in the care of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.
