Eleanor M. Schweter Schoenherr

CONNEAUTVILLE — Eleanor M. Schweter Schoenherr, 96, of Conneautville, passed away at Rolling Fields Inc. on Saturday, March 17, 2012.

She was born in Cleveland, Oct. 24, 1915, a daughter of the late Joseph Neubeck and Anastasia Ehrbar Neubeck. She married Frank Schweter and he preceded her in death. She subsequently married Don Schoenherr.

She was employed by Albro Packing of Springboro; Schuko Shoe Factory of Conneautville; and was a Mary Kay & Fashion No. 220 Rep.

She was a faithful member of St. Peter Church of Conneautville; Red Hat Society; she loved her country music with favorites, such as Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to name a few. She enjoyed dancing and her family.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Schweter of Meadville, Shirley Hannaford of Linesville, Wayne Schweter and wife, Erna, of Olympia, Wash., Carol O’Donnell of Carlton, Leroy Schweter and wife, Darlene, of Houston, Texas, and Elaine Zicarelli and husband, Louis, of Conneautville; 30 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice Crowder of Cleveland, Ohio;

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Schweter; son, Dale Schweter; granddaughter, Darla Hunter; great-grandson, Rocco Zicarelli; sons-in-law, Jerome Hannaford and Daniel O’Donnell; daughter-in-law, Joyce Schweter; brother, Joseph Nuebeck; sisters, Bernice Geiger and Rita Brown; and boyfriend, Ed Davis.

Friends may call on Saturday at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville from 10 until 10:45 a.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 501 Washington St., Conneautville, with Father Dennis Veltri as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.

The family requests memorials be made to St. Peter Church, PO Box F, Conneautville, Pa. 16406.
