WARREN, Ohio — Alvin S. Stesiak, 91, of Warren, Ohio, and formerly of Linesville, Sabastian, Fla., Champion, Ohio, and Colebrook, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at his residence.

Born July 25, 1921, in Wheeling, W.Va., he was a son of John and Stella Bis Stesiak. He married Anne Esther Hulvalchick on July 5, 1941, at St. Mary’s Church in Orwell, Ohio; she preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 2005.

He served our country in the United States Army during World War II. For 35 years, Alvin worked for Packard Electric Division of General Motors in Warren, Ohio, stating as an hourly service boy and retiring in October 1981 as a salaried construction supervisor. He was highly respected by his peers and was a skilled tradesman.

Alvin was an avid hunter and fisherman. He and his wife Anne spent many fun filled hours fishing on Pymatuning Lake in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
