MIMS, Fla. —
Anita A. Byers, 84, of Mims, Fla., and Harmonsburg, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Parish Medical Center, Titusville, Fla., following a battle with cancer.
She was born in Smethport on May 12, 1929, a daughter of Milford Adam Brougham and Ethel Cora Irons Brougham. She married Thomas R. Byers on Nov. 22, 1952. He preceded her in death March 21, 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Brown and her husband, David, of Stillwater, Minn.; two sons, Robert Byers of Enfield, Conn., and Daniel Byers and his wife, Mary, of Guys Mills; three grandchildren, Erin Byers Clark and her husband, Tommy, of Enterprise, Ala., and James Byers and Justin Byers, both of Guys Mills; two sisters, Susan Jurenko of Olean, N.Y., and Edna Newton of Hamburg, N.Y.; and a brother, William Brougham of El Cajon, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Adam Brougham.
