Clifford E. Rhoades, 74, of Utica, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center Transitional Care Unit.
Born Aug. 26, 1938, in Utica, he was the son of Raymond J. and Roxie A. Stearns Rhoades.
He worked at Carpenters Electric, Atco Tool and the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad.
Cliff also enjoyed hunting and fishing and bowling with the Huckleberry Hounds.
Survivors include his children, Jordan Zarecki and his wife, Janice, of St. Joseph, Mo., David Rhoades and his wife, Carm, of Platea, Joe Rhoades and his wife, Barb, of Rocklin, Calif., and Diane McHenry and her husband, Mike, of Meadville; eight sisters, Helen Nemeth of Cochranton, Ruth Richards of Cochranton, Marion Runyan of Cochranton, Ruby Reed and her husband, Warren, of Sandy Lake, Jean Kline of Pleasantville, Martha Kline of Titusville, Florence Rhoades of Franklin, and Shirley Rhoades of Utica; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Judy Rhoades of Meadville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ralph and Russell; two sisters, Freda Mattocks and Janet Rhoades; and a granddaughter, Jennifer.
Friends may call at Dickson Family Funeral Home, Inc., 123 S. Franklin St. Cochranton, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Brumagin officiating.
Interment will be in Peters Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
