CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Donna L. Stoy Green, 67, of Charlotte, N.C., and formerly of Conneaut Lake, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews, N.C.

Donna was born in Johnstown on Aug. 28, 1945, to the late James (Don) Stoy and Margaret Doerr Stoy of Ebensburg. She graduated from Bishop Carroll High School, Ebensburg, in 1963.

Donna spent a large part of her career as personnel director at Conneaut Lake Park along with time spent at Mama Bear’s, Sunshine House and Morning Star Storage. Her favorite role of all was hosting “Grammy Camp” for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and attending craft shows, was actively involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars and served many years with Conneaut Lake Area Business Association.

Donna is survived by her five children, Doug Davis and his wife, Jill, of Conneaut Lake, Robert Hanson and his wife, Heidi, of Williston, N.D., Tracey Davis of Conneaut Lake, Jennifer Davis Stephens of Charlotte and Jami Green of Manassas, Va.; four grandchildren, Josh Gregory and his wife, Macy, of Williston, Taylor Davis of Conneaut Lake, and Nick and Andrew Stephens of Charlotte; a sister, Linda Stoy Grove and her husband, Dean, of Vinco; and two nieces, Tammy Calpin of Vinco, and Carrie Kessler and her husband, Ben, of Beaumont, Texas.

Friends will be received Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake. Friends are welcome to join the family immediately following at Summit Township Volunteer Fire Department, 10870 E. Plum St., Harmonsburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 505 Poplar St., Suite 310, Meadville, Pa. 16335; or to your favorite charity.
