MOCKSVILLE, N.C. —
Donna Irene Mosier, 71, of North Main Street, Mocksville, N.C., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, with her loving family by her side after a long battle with cancer. Born in Meadville on April 27, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Arlene Monnin. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Lawrence Windsor Jr. of Mocksville.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott James (Jimmy) Mosier.
Other survivors include her son, Jack Douglas Mosier of Mocksville; her daughter, Sherrie Lynn Mosier Karns and husband, Lorne, of Advance; also a son, Lawrence Windsor III of Nevada; and daughters, Betty Jane Boyer of Washington and Mary Grace Chamberlain of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by several precious grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Susan Clark and her companion, Donn, of Kernersville; and her soul sisters, Cathy McDonough of Florida and Billie Midkiff of Pennsylvania.
Donna enjoyed gardening, shopping, going to the beach, fishing, sewing and spending time with her family.
A private service will be held by her family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Davie County, 377 Hospital St., Suite 103, Mocksville, N.C. 27028.
