SAEGERTOWN — Mildred (Millie) Ann Frisina, 83, of 20881 Route 198, Saegertown, formerly of 380 Arch St., Meadville, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.

Millie was born in Meadville on July 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Anthony and Rosalie Piazza Saggio. On Oct. 13, 1951, Millie married Anthony J. Frisina; he preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1962.

She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

After 42 years of service, Millie retired in February 1994 from the former Talon Inc. of Meadville where she was employed as secretary to the plant manager. She was a 1948 graduate of Meadville High School. Millie had been a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the Italian Civic Club. She will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Millie is survived by two sons, Michael Frisina and his wife, Diana, of Meadville, and Stephen Frisina and his wife, Linda, of Encinitas, Calif.; a daughter, Christine Tighe and her husband, Terry, of Erie; four grandchildren, Matthew, Stephan and Erin Tighe, and Michael Frisina; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Augie Saggio, and a brother, Louis Saggio, both of Meadville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Anthony, Millie was preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn Patrick Tighe; and two brothers, Nick and Phil Saggio.

Family and friends are invited to call today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a scripture service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, with Father Johnathan Schmolt, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.
