CONNEAUT LAKE —
Colene Moore, 76, of Conneaut Lake, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville.
She was born Dec. 19, 1936, in Stumptown, W.Va., a daughter of Christopher C. and Florence Ball McCumber.
Formerly of Andover, Ohio, Mrs. Moore had lived in Conneaut Lake for the past 35 years. She was employed by Meadville Medical Center for more than 13 years.
Mrs. Moore was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Linesville; and a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Meadville. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and gardening.
Mrs. Moore married Karl Richard Moore on April 5, 1958; and he preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2012. Also preceding her are her parents; and a sister, Wanda Consla.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Glenn) Geyer of Arcadia, Fla.; son, Chris Thurber of Conroe, Texas; son, Karl R. “Rick” (Anita) Thurber of Meadville; son, Richard (Laura) Moore of Conneautville; daughter, Robin (Chester) Crawford of Conneaut Lake; son, Randall (Shannon) Moore of Meadville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Smith of Corry.
Private services will be held for the family. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. The family suggests memorial contributions to Rolling Fields, 9108 Route 198, Conneautville, Pa. 16406.
