CONNEAUT LAKE —
David A. Bodosky, 70, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Rolling Fields, Conneautville.
He was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Pittsburgh, a son of Joseph Bodosky and Elizabeth Barnishan Bodosky Davis. He married Patricia Ann Power on Feb. 8, 1964, and she preceded him in death July 2, 2000.
David, along with his wife, Patricia, was co-owner and operator of Fassetts Restaurant and Catering Service, Conneaut Lake, for 28 years. He previously was employed at the Occidental Restaurant, Washington, D.C., as restaurant captain.
David was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, Conneaut Lake. He was also a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Conneaut Lake, founding member of the Conneaut Lake Area Business Association and member of the Conneaut Lake Historical Society.
He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling and history, and is now at peace in Heaven with his beloved wife, Patricia.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Ann Davis and her husband, Donald, of Conneaut Lake; a son, Dr. David J. Bodosky and his wife, Kippy, of Conneaut Lake; and three grandchildren, Tabitha Davis, Jacob Bodosky and Dawson Bodosky.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra A. Bodosky.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake, with a Scripture Prayer service at 4:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth St., Conneaut Lake, with Fr. Chris Hamlett as celebrant.
Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
