CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS —
Anna (Ann, Annie) Jean Roha, 90, of Cambridge Springs, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Cambridge Springs Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She was born in Export on Aug. 6, 1922, daughter of the late Vincent Steve and Anna Dragon Makoski.
Anna loved gardening and also was proud to be a coalminer’s daughter. She was also a member at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Anna worked for seven years at American Viscose, making textile fibers for parachute jumpers in London. She was hired later by the original owner of Lang’s Electric, Bill Lang. Anna put in 37 years on the assembly line as an assembly worker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Jacob Roha; brother, Joe Makoski; sister, Helen Sherrod; and son-in-law, Ernest Davidson.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Roha of Cambridge Springs; daughter, Carol Davidson of Meadville; granddaughter, Tammy R. Brown; and grandson, Ernie Davidson.
Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie St., Edinboro, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held there on Saturday at 10 a.m., with Father Rev. David Poulson officiating.
Burial will be in Venango Cemetery.
