Chester Roy Shattuck

COCHRANTON — Chester Roy Shattuck, 54, passed peacefully away at his home in Cochranton on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Born on July 9, 1959, in Titusville, Chester was a son of the late Harry Myers and Maxine Croyle Myers.

Chester enjoyed riding his motorcycle, racing cars and four-wheelers with his daughter and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially rabbit hunting with his beagles. Chester was a fun-loving person and treasured spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter and baby grandson.

Allen, all of 21776 Stein Hill Road, Cochranton; a brother, Harry Myers and his wife, Vernie; a half brother, Joe Myers and his wife, Missy; and three half sisters, Debbie Brickell, Patricia Hamacek and Peggy Thomas. Chester is further survived by his adoptive family, which includes two brothers, William Shattuck Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, and Richard Shattuck and his wife, Judy. Additional survivors are many nieces and nephews including, Tammy Black and her husband, Donald; a nephew, William Shattuck III; and several brother and sisters-in-law, Linda Peterson and her husband, Larry and her children, Brandon and Breanna, Jane Butryn and her companion, Kevin Lippert, and Jody Anthony and her daughter, Kayla Anthony.
