HARMONSBURG — Thelma L. Hotchkiss, 91, of Harmonsburg died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community. She was born Jan. 14, 1923, in Hollidaysburg to the late Martin N. Dively and Dora E. Harpster Dively.

She married Charles H. Hotchkiss on May 19, 1960. He preceded her in death in 1982. She was employed by Rolling Fields Nursing Home as a night supervisor. Prior to working at Rolling Fields she worked for Suburban General Hospital of Belleview. She belonged to Harmonsburg Methodist Church and Harmonsburg Woman’s club. Prior to her retirement from nursing, Thelma took a position as secretary for Evergreen Cemetery, where she worked long into her retirement years.

Survivors include two brothers, Clarence Dively of Pittsburgh and Raymond Dively of Baden; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Thelma is preceded in death by five sisters, Betty Laumert, Dorothy Dively, Helen Gray, Leanora Arneson and Edna Vulokivc.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to White-Cool Funeral Home, with Funeral Director Gina M. McCauley, 1405 Main St., Conneautville.
