Mary C. Laush, 94, formerly of Cochranton and a resident of Rolling Fields Nursing Home in Conneautville, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at her residence.
Born July 27, 1919, in Wayland, Ky., she was the daughter of Sam and Lena Schuster Constantinovich. She married John Laush on June 26, 1948, and he survives.
She was a 1936 graduate of Meadville High School and also served on the Reunion Committee.
She worked at the former American Viscose for 17 years as an instructor and relief supervisor. She was also a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Cochranton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John Michael Laush and his wife, Tammy, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and a daughter, Diane Marie Laush and her husband, Robert Dummer, of Tempe, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothea (Dolly) Dearborn and Catherine Kralj; and a brother, Michael Constantinovich.
There are no calling hours.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady or Lourdes Church in Cochranton, with the Rev. Daniel Prez as celebrant.
Entombment will be in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.
The family asks that memorials be made to the Cochranton Volunteer Fire Department, 113 E. Adams St., or the Cochranton American Legion Post No. 836, 203 W. Adams St., both of Cochranton, Pa. 16314.
