She volunteered at the Ashtabula County Nursing home in the activities department, where she was affectionately known as the “Popcorn Lady.” She also volunteered and was employed part time in the activities department at The Villa At The Lake. She loved doing jigsaw puzzles during the winter months, and delighted in her children and grandchildren.

Jackson (Sandy Ritchey) of Ashtabula, Ohio; her sister, Joanne Michaels of California; stepchildren Kathryn (David) Vanderveer of Fredericksburg, Va., Carol (Bob) Drake of Ithaca, N.Y., Jake (Terri) Lewis of Phoenix, Ariz., and Patricia (Andy) Lewis of Rock Creek, Ohio; and a number of grandchildren, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and more distant relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard L. Jackson; two sons, Thomas L. Jackson and Michael T. Jackson; a grandson, Thomas; and her brother, Bill Nejbauer.
