Terry E. Hudson, 50, of Cochranton died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Meadville Medical Center, Transitional Care Unit. Born Sept. 22, 1963, in Meadville, he was a son of Thomas and Emma (Sis) Holobar Hudson.
He graduated from Cochranton High School in 1981 and received an associate’s degree from Penn Tech Institute.
He was an engineer for General Electric in Lynchburg, Va., and presently was employed at Bliley’s Technologies in Erie.
An avid sports fan, he loved to golf and was a Cleveland Browns and New York Yankees fan.
Survivors include his mother, “Sis” Hudson of Cochranton; seven sisters, Tami Cimino and her husband, Jim, of Seven Fields, Debbie McCracken Sanchez and her husband, Pedro, of Tampa, Fla., Sharon Yost and her husband, Gary, of Cochranton, Coleen Roy of Brook Park, Ohio, Sonja Hudson of Riverview, Fla., Cindy Gray and her husband, Craig, of Corry and Coral Hudson of Conneaut Lake. He is also survived by several aunts, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Edwin and Art Hudson; two uncles, Curtis and William Hudson; and a nephew, Joshua Beck.
Friends will be received at Dickson Family Funeral Home Inc., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, today from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. from the funeral home on Sunday, with the Rev. Greg Spencer of Cochranton United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be in Cochranton Cemetery.
