UNION CITY —
Floyd B. Peterson, 84, of Union City, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Corry Manor, Corry.
Floyd was born Aug. 11, 1928, in Guys Mills, the son of the late Floyd and Florence Peterson.
He was a farmer and enjoyed watching the wildlife that was around, especially birds, rabbits, squirrels and bear.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Heckathorn of Linesville and Debbie Peterson of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Keith Peterson and his wife, Sharon, of Union City, and Dale Peterson and his wife, Ardith, of North East; a sister, Nellie Callahan of Conneaut Lake; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Louise Peterson, in December 2004.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home Inc., 62 S. Main St., Union City.
The funeral is Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Mount Pleasant Chapel, Mount Pleasant Road, Union City, with the Rev. Jerry Alsdorf officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Guys Mills.
