HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Charles Michael (Mike) Lemley, 65, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.

Mike was born March 6, 1948, in Huntington, a son of the late Charles and Clariece Beckner Lemley.

Mike was a retired senior master sergeant with the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War, and was the Air Force recruiter from 1975 to 1983 in Meadville. He also retired from Big Sandy Furniture Stores.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of Sugarwood Golf Course.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Jenneth Shorey Lemley; five sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Ginnie Lemley, Chad and Dawn Lemley, Brad and Bre Lemley, Jarrod and Allison Lemley and Brett Lemley; a sister, Kathy Midkiff, and seven grandchildren, Katie, Emma, Derek, Jacob, Raegan, Tayleigh and Jenna.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Reger Funeral Home, 1242 Adams Ave., Huntington.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Reger Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Steve Hensley.

Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, W.Va.
