AUSTINBURG, Ohio —
Lois Jane McGrath, 81, of Austinburg, Ohio, died Monday evening, Jan. 14, 2013, at Geneva Village Retirement Center. She was born Feb. 1, 1931, in Meadville, a daughter of Carson and Helen (Bollinger) Porter.
She is a graduate of Meadville High School. She enjoyed knitting, painting and shopping on QVC.
Her family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice of the Western Reserve for all of their kindness and support. They are forever grateful for your compassion.
She is survived by her three children, Gary (Donna) Nale of Saegertown, Linda (Tom) Francis of Mentor, Ohio, and Cathy Fogaty of Chicago Ill.; two brothers, William (Connie) Porter of Austin Texas, and Daniel (Diane) Porter of Woodbridge Va.; two sisters, Joy (William) Miller of Meadville and Nancy (Ted) Brink of Erie; five grandchildren, Timothy Francis, Jessica Francis, Craig (Lindsay) Nale, Emily Nale and Trevor Fogaty; and three beautiful great-grandchildren, Matthew, Alayna and Jacob Nale.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James McGrath; a brother, Francis Rittenour; and a sister, Patty Williams.
