MEADVILLE — Betty Lee Ludwar, born to George and Linda Hise in 1925, passed away at Juniper Village surrounded by her family. She married Ted Wilson and later Lawrence Ludwar.

Betty was a “feisty” gal whose family moved to Conneaut Lake in the 1930s where she grew up on the family farm. Earlier in life she gave music lessons, was a Sunday school teacher, sold real estate, sold insurance and raised her children. She had a quick wit and quicker mind, enjoyed fishing, gardening, knitting, Xmas, traveling and was always trying to help her neighbors.

Survivors include her three children, Teresa “Terry” Wygle (Jerry), Ted Wilson Jr. (Mary Ann) and Christine Egley (Dean); nine grandchildren, Stephen Reynolds, Stacy Daly, Amanda Hamilton, Trisha Rimpa, Troy Wilson, Kate and Erin Egley, Sheila McNabb and Sylvia Reibel. In addition, she had eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and a brother; and both spouses.

There will be no calling hours. The family will celebrate Betty’s life at a later time.

The family asks that memorials be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine St., Meadville, Pa. 16335.

Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, is in charge of final arrangements.
