LAS VEGAS — F. Louise Beckwith, 80, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, in Las Vegas.

She was born Dec. 21, 1932, at Brown Memorial Hospital, Conneaut, Ohio, to Hazel Brown Doan and Hugh Doan.

She lived in Ohio for three years, moving to North East for two years and then to Ripley, N.Y., where she attended school from first through a portion of her eighth-grade year and then moved to Riceville for the remainder of that year at Bloomfield School. Louise met her future husband, Rex, at the Canadohta Lake roller rink. They were married on June 25, 1951. They skated through many years and raised their girls on skates, putting their older daughter on skates when she was 3 years old and the younger one at 18 months.

She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas since July 2009 and a member of Riceville United Methodist Church since 1952.
