BUTLER — John Clayton Kuhn, 48, passed away unexpectedly following an extended illness, into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at his residence in Butler. He married Tina Detar Aug. 20, 1990. She survives.

John was born April 24, 1965, in Butler, a son of Clayton L. Kuhn and Sandra Faye Arbogast Kuhn Hurta.

He was a 1984 graduate of Conneaut Valley High School. He liked hunting and fishing with family and friends. John graduated from Triangle Tech in 2002 for electrical engineering and worked independently.

John is survived by his parents, Clayton of Columbus, and Sandra Hurta of Conneautville; a daughter, Christin LeeAnn Kuhn of Butler; a brother, David W. Kuhn of Albion; four sisters, Lorrie (Bill) Banks of Springboro, Michelle (Shane) Durrance of Richmond Hills, Ga., Tammy J. Kuhn of Meadville and Michael (Mikey) Shawna Kuhn of Conneautville; a stepsister, Tricia Kuhn of Corry; five nephews, five nieces and three great-nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St. Conneautville.
