Mary Lou Longstreth Brown, 86, of Erie, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Millcreek Manor. She was born July 25, 1927, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late William and Estelle Baker Longstreth, and had resided in the Erie area for most of her life.
Mary Lou had been employed by Keystone Laundry for many years prior to her retirement. She had attended First Assembly of God Church on Oliver Road in Erie.
The widow of Homer K. Brown, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jean Marie; three brothers, Jack (infant brother), Robert and Eckert Longstreth.
Mary Lou is survived by two daughters, Betty L. Pencille (Oscar) and Debra A. Parsons (Steven), all of Edinboro; grandchildren, Jamie Pencille (Sandy) and Eckert Pencille; two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Josey Pencille; two sisters, three brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Dusckas Funeral Home Inc., 2607 Buffalo Road, Erie, on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service there at 1 p.m., conducted by Nick Titus.
Interment will be in Phillipsville Union Cemetery.
