Allen (Crazy Al) Paul Timko Sr., 66, of Union Street, Springboro, passed away suddenly on Monday Nov. 1, 2010.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 2, 1944, a son of the late Frank Timko Sr. and Sophia Petrilla Timko. He married Carol Jean Gleason and she survives.
He was a truck driver for Sidley’s Inc.
He loved his family, riding his Harley, and people in general very much and was always the life of the party. He was a member of Teamsters Local 397. He was a life member of Springboro Volunteer Firehall; Conneautville American Legion; Meadville American Legion; Albion Veterans of Foreign Wars; Vernon Volunteer Firehall; and ABATE motorcycle club.
He was Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Carol, of Springboro; three daughters, Georgianna Carr of Conneautville, Judy Hicks and her husband, Bruce, of Conneautville, and Robin Tenney and her husband, Zach, of Virginia; a son, Allen P. Timko Jr. of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Megan, Staci, Emily, Jack, Annabelle, Libby and Evan; a great-grandson, Michael; a sister, Dianne Irwin of Meadville; four brothers, Carl and his wife, Barbara Timko, of Springboro, Frank Timko Jr. of Conneautville, Russell and his wife, Dorothy Timko, of Lady Lake, Fla., and David and his wife, Peggy Timko; a special nephew, Randy Irwin and his wife, Patti, of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St. Conneautville.
The funeral will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Loren Little of Living Hope Church officiating.
Interment will be in Spring Cemetery.
