Marvin Eugene Youngs of Conneautville, born March 8, 1952, to Marvin Howard Youngs and Betty Jean Dunlap Youngs in Conneaut, Ohio, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at Shadeyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He lived life to the fullest after being diagnosed with leukemia in 2011.
Marvin was a “jack of all trades” and a perfectionist, especially when it came to building his home.
He enjoyed playing poker with his friends, fishing and NASCAR.
He is survived by a sister, Vickie Bollis and her husband, Richard, of Meadville, a brother, Garry Youngs of Conneautville, and a sister, Brenda Abbott of Harmonsburg; nieces, Allison Peterson of Conneautville and Tami Urey of Meadville; nephews, Jeffery Abbott of Pacifica, Calif., and Paul Patterson of Linesville; great-nieces and nephews, Gabby, Hope, Matt, Connor, Libby and Faith; and his Amish friends that meant the world to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per request of the family, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Crawford County Humane Society.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
