CHANDLER, Ariz. —
Bradley H.J. Schuffert, 31, passed away peacefully at Dobson Hospice House in Chandler, Ariz., on Sunday, April 6, 2014, with his family beside him, after a courageous battle with Acute Myelodysplastic Leukemia. He underwent a bone marrow transplant on Dec. 26, 2013.
Bradley was born in Meadville on Feb. 22, 1983, to Connie (Percival) and James Schuffert. He moved to Arizona in 1993. He graduated from Queen Creek High School in 2002. He also received his associate’s degree from Ford Motor School and became a master mechanic. He won multiple awards in his career. He was employed at Empire Heavy Equipment at the time of his passing.
He married Julie Palmer on March 4, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Julie; three children, Khloee, 11, Sadie, 4, and Paul, 2; his mother, Connie Schuffert of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; his father, James Schuffert of Gilbert, Ariz.; two brothers, Jared Schuffert and Jeremy Schuffert; his in-laws, Rodney and Marti Palmer, and brother-in-law, Danny; his grandmother, Jane Divens of Bear Lake; several aunts and uncles, Janet and Dennis Messinger of Bear Lake, Donna Belles and Anna Smith of Raleigh, N.C., Lucy and Joe Koehler of Apache Jct., Ariz., Cindy and Edwin Smith of Mesa, Ariz., John and Alice Percival of Mesa, and Edward Percival Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; and many cousins.
Bradley was a passionate and wonderful father and husband. He enjoyed hunting, camping and riding quads.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Jennie and Ed Percival, and Howard Divens; his aunt, Christina Dupont; and cousin, Carlos Belles.
Services were held at Central Christian Church in Mesa.
