WHITE OAK —
Audrey June Lydon, 82, of White Oak, formerly of Cochranton, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at UPMC McKeesport.
Born Nov. 10, 1930, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late William and Marie Gross Herrington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Lydon; a son, Michael R. Lydon and a daughter, Susan M. (Ron) McCorkle.
A member of the Cochranton United Methodist Church, she was a retired sales associate from Sears and Roebuck in East Liberty after 27 years of service. She also had worked at the Red Cross in Meadville with disaster relief for more than 10 years.
Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca L. (Dale B.) Smith of Murrysville and Lori J. O’Neal of North East; grandchildren, Gillian and Devon McCorkle, William and Kate Perkins and Joyce O’Neal; great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Colton and Ella Rose Shippey; a sister, Ruth Weyman of McKeesport; and nieces Karen (Richard) Mann and Judith (John) Steff.
Friends will be received Saturday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home Inc., 2703 O’Neil Blvd., McKeesport.
Funeral service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Karen Burns presiding.
Interment will be private in Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg.
