CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Judy Anne Ross, 63, resident of 27506 Beckman Road, Cambridge Springs, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at UPMC Hamot in Erie. She had formerly resided at 331 E. 26th St., Erie, for the past 40 years.

Born in Union City on Dec. 15, 1949, Judy was a daughter of the late Frank Alan Schropp and Anna Petrick Schropp.

Judy graduated from Cambridge Springs High School in 1968. She worked as a counter waitress for the Donut Connection located on 38th and Liberty, Erie, for the past 20 years.

An avid reader, Judy was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Chicago Bulls, especially Michael Jordan. She particularly enjoyed the company of her neighbors and friends.

Surviving Judy is her son, Michael D. Ross of Cambridge Springs, with whom she recently made her home; two grandchildren, Meaiva Balsiger-Eccles and Mikah Ross, both of Cambridge Springs; a close family friend, Dana Williams, and his two children, Nevaeh and Whitney; a brother, Frank Schropp Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
