OIL CITY — Joseph F. Fedorek, 86, longtime businessowner in Oil City, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at Oakwood Heights in Oil City after a period of declining health.

Born Jan. 25, 1927, in Oil City, he was a son of the late Michael and Aniela Marki Fedorek.

Joe attended Assumption and Oil City schools.

He had attended the Assumption BVM Church.

He was the owner/operator of Kohl & Tucker Furniture Store on Oil City’s Southside for many years.

Joe enjoyed going to estate sales and antiquing.

He is survived by a brother, Stanley Fedorek of Cambridge Springs; and by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Anthony, John, Bert, James (Jake) and Frank Fedorek; and by two sisters, Josephine Beightol and Catherine Schiffer.

At Joe’s request, their will be no viewing or visitation.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
