Frances P. Bufalino, 89, of Conneautville passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, in Brooksville, Fla.
She was born in Pittston to the late Joseph and Marie Fasciana. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, James Bufalino.
Frances was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. In 1956, they moved to Conneautville, where she owned and operated the Charm beauty shop for 20 years. She and her husband were true companions side-by-side in every venture throughout their life together, whether it be traveling, working or watching the Yankees play baseball. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Marie (Jim) Bortnick of Conneautville and Carolyn (Nick) Giannakas of Norwood, N.J.; three grandchildren, Maryfran (Vince) Powall of Lakewood, N.Y., James (Debra) Bortnick Jr. of Meadville and Corey Giannakas of Norwood, N.J.; three great-grandchildren, Sydney, Ryan and Mitchell Pascarella of Lakewood, N.Y.; a sister, Josephine Fasciana of West Pittston; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Vita Bufalino of Erie; a sister-in-law, Caroline Forlizzi of Tarpan Springs, Fla.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Leo Fasciana; two sisters, Lena Bufalino and Ursula Fasciana; and a beloved brother-in-law, Sam Bufalino.
Friends may call on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Conneautville with Rev. Fr. Dennis Veltri officiating.
