HARTSTOWN — Joseph D. Miller, 58, of 6263 U.S. Highway 322, Hartstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at 7:28 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.

He was born in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, on March 18, 1954, a son of Daniel J. Miller and Dorothy L. Kaufman Miller. He married Cynthia Smith, April 28, 1984. She survives.

He was a graduate of Jamestown High School. He was a traffic dispatcher at Interstate Chemical Corp. in Hermitage for 18 years. He had previously owned and operated his own truck.

He was a member of the Christian Missionary and Alliance Church in Greenville.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and volunteered with Crawford County Special Olympics.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cynthia Miller; his father, Daniel J. Miller of Hartstown; three sons, Adam D. Miller and his fiancée, Renee Pszyk, of Northfield, Vt., and Kyle R. Miller and Scott A. Miller, both of Hartstown; three sisters, Barbara Miller and her husband, Rich, of Myakka City, Fla., Sandy Mills and her husband, Tom, of Aurora, Colo., and Theresa Lloyd and her fiancé, Dave Herd, of Hartstown; a brother, Gary Miller and his wife, Angel, of Hartstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Greenville.

The religious service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Nathan Seckinger, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Sunnyside Mennonite Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.

Arrangements are under the direction of Randall Funeral Home, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
