SAEGERTOWN — David Olis Kysor, 60, of 20881 Route 198, Saegertown, formerly of Meadville and Lincolnville, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Crawford County Care Center.

David was born in Corry on Nov. 19, 1953, a son of Louise (Caglio) Kysor and the late Darrell Kysor.

He attended Little Cooley United Methodist Church, Centerville.

For 32 years David was employed by Vallonia Industries where he made and kept many friends. He never met anyone who wasn’t his instant friend. David was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed bowling and socializing with his friends at the ARC. He loved attending dances and was sure to dance the whole evening and never sit down. He loved all the new babies in the family and always wanted a picture rocking them. David taught everyone in the family how to be compassionate and loving. He always had a smile on his face and was willing to give a free hug. He will be sadly missed by all.

David is survived by his mother, Louise Kysor of Meadville; three brothers, Darrell Kysor and his wife, Linda, of Corry, Dan Kysor and his wife, Kate, of Port Allegheny, and Darwin Kysor and his wife, Pat, of Huntingdon; two sisters, Colleen Conaway of Worthington, and Marsha Byham and her husband, Bill, of Guys Mills, a special friend, Judy Burdick of Townville; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his father, Darrell, David was preceded in death by a brother, Victor; and a sister, Lorna.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, with Pastor Mary Stewart of Little Cooley United Methodist Church officiating.
