MEADVILLE — Philomena (Phil) Froncillo, 89, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, formerly of Boynton Street and Water Street, Meadville, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born in Meadville on June 29, 1923, a daughter of the late Frank and Elena (Oliverio) Froncillo.

She was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

After nearly 44 years of employment, Phil retired as assistant manager of the former G.C. Murphy Co. of Meadville. She will be remembered as a loving, caring person who enjoyed being around people.

Phil is survived by two brothers, Patrick Froncillo of Meadville and Paul Sam Froncillo of Winter Haven, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Colla and Theresa Orlando; and two brothers, John and Joseph Froncillo.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a Scripture service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Father Marc Solomon, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.
