BATTLETOWN, Ky. —
Lewis H. Hall, 78, of Battletown, Ky., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born April 7, 1934, in Crawford County, to the late Ellsworth William Hall and Irene Velma Williams.
He was a kind and loving husband who loved his children and family very much. Most of all, he loved God and put others first. He enjoyed teaching the Bible to his grandchildren, woodworking, small engine repair and being with family and friends.
Lewis worked at Penn Furniture in Conneautville in the 1970s.
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Clayton Hall and DeWayne Hall.
Mr. Hall is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Amy Hall; his children, Billy Hall and his wife, Cara, of Conneautville, David Culbertson of Conneautville, Connie Minman and her husband, Scott, of Meadville, David Hall and his wife, Karen, of Salem, Ind., Kellie Schleifer and her husband, Gerhart, of Phoenix, Ariz., Carrie Lynn of Phoenix, and Rodney Hall and his wife, Lydia, of Anchorage, Ky.; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Smith of Kentucky; two sisters, Marilyn Matthews and Tammy Henry of Conneautville; a brother, Rick Hall and his wife, Loretta, of Indiana; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation. No services will be held.
