Elizabeth A. (Liz) Larkin, 86, formerly of Water Street, Conneaut Lake, passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Rolling Fields Nursing Home, Conneautville.
She was born March 26, 1927, in Sadsbury Township, Crawford County, a daughter of the late Frank and Jessie Mullian Pinigis. She married William Hugh Larkin on Aug. 27, 1960. He preceded her in death Oct. 10, 1984.
She had been employed in the production department at Westinghouse in Meadville.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake. She loved her chocolates and her caregivers and especially loved to do catalog shopping and home shopping on the Internet. She enjoyed time sitting beside a sunny window. She was an animal lover, especially dogs and cats.
She is survived by a niece, Carolyn M. Patterson of Grove City; a great-nephew, Kevin; and two great-nieces, Heather and Andrea.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two half sisters, Helen German and Dorothy Ward; and a nephew, Curtis Patterson.
Visitation will be held Saturday at Linesville Cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until time of the graveside service at 11, with Pastor David Brumagin of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating.
