NEW LEBANON — Ned B. Francisco, 72, of New Lebanon died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at Meadville Medical Center. Born Aug. 10, 1941, in Meadville, he was a son of George S. and Bertha Baker Francisco. He married Leila Sherretts on Oct. 18, 1986, and she survives.

He was a 1961 graduate of Cochranton High School and began working for the Plumber’s and Steam Fitter’s Union Local 47 (presently 449) in 1966 and retired due to health reasons.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and also watching NASCAR.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of 27 years, include a daughter, Lisa A. Francisco of Sandy Lake; two grandsons, Greg A. Brazel and his wife, Brittany, of Jackson Center and Adam King of Sandy Lake; and a great-granddaughter, Sadelyn E. Brazel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Joe B. Francisco.

There are no calling hours or services planned.
