Monika Conroy Scott, 69, of Meadville passed away on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born March 25, 1944, in Weisbaden, Germany, a daughter of the late Paul and Marie Kaiser Kleinert. She married William Walker Scott Jr. on Dec. 6, 1996. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1996.
Monika moved to the United States on March 9, 1962. She proudly achieved citizenship in 2000.
She was a waitress and hostess at the former Stable Pit & Pub, Conneaut Lake, for more than 20 years.
She was of the Christian faith. She was an avid gardener and was very devoted to her pets. She took care of others around her. She enjoyed life.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Conroy and her companion, Darren Niedermeyer, of Meadville, and Colleen Conroy and her husband, Greg Donnal, of Traverse City, Mich.; a nephew, Patrick Kiewal and a niece, Michelle Kiewal, both of Weisbaden.
In addition to her parents, Paul and Marie Kleinert, and her husband, William Walker Scott Jr., she was preceded in death by a brother, Gunter Kiewal; an aunt, Anna Ohly; and an uncle, Karl Ohly.
There will be no calling or services.
