Roberta Galbraith Hagerty


FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. — Roberta Galbraith Hagerty, 73, widow of Wallace Eugene Hagerty, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012.

She was born May 19, 1939, in Meadville, to the late Leigh Robert and Ella Thibault Galbraith. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

Surviving are two sons and their wives, Brian and Pam Hagerty, and Keith and Mae Hagerty; two daughters and their husbands, Deborah and John Pantuso, and Colleen and Tony Painter; six grandchildren, Rachel, Aubrey and Samuel Hagerty, Joy Pantuso, Melody Gitthens and Cassie Painter; two great-grandchildren, Braden Reyes and Josiaha Gitthens; three brothers, Gene, Max and Charles Galbraith; two sisters, Ellen Thompson and Juanita Vanderhoof; and a very special friend, Peggy Sayre.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Duane, Raymond and Robert Galbraith; and a sister, Maxine Leonhart.

Funeral services are today at 4 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel of Greenville Memorial Gardens, officiated by Pastor Russ Muse. Burial will follow in the cemetery.

The family is at the home of Colleen Painter, 130 Maple Meadows Lane, Fountain Inn, S.C., 29644.

Fletcher Funeral Service, 1218 N. Main St., Fountain Inn, S.C., is in charge of arrangements.
