Frederick E. (Felty) Feltenberger


MEADVILLE TRIBUNE

MEADVILLE — Frederick E. (Felty) Feltenberger, 63, of Market Street, Meadville, passed away at 11 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at home.

He was born Nov. 30, 1948, in Meadville, a son of Alfred Eugene Feltenberger and Harriet L. Joliet Palka.

He was self-employed and did painting, roofing and lawn work. He attended Meadville area schools.

He was a member of Italian Civic Club, Meadville Club and Hunting & Fishing Club. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and also enjoyed basketball. He was always willing to help people when he was able to.

Survivors include a daughter, Tera J. Feltenberger and her companion, Alan L. Baumbach, of Middletown; a son, Scott D. Feltenberger and his companion, Kendra Gallina, of Halifax; a sister, Beverly A. Hubert and her husband, Jeffery, of Meadville; two brothers, Richard A. Feltenberger and his stepon, Jason Urey, and Daniel Custard, all of Meadville; two grandchildren, Kyle D. Feltenberger and Alaina M. Baumbach; an aunt, Judi Reed and her family of Florida; two uncles, Harold Joliet and his family of Michigan, and Fran Feltenberger and his family of Cochranton, with whom he was very close; nieces, Tammy L. Petruso and her husband, Jim, and their family of New York, and Kerra Feltenberger and her family of Pittsburgh; nephews, J.R. Hubert and his wife, Mandi, and their family of Saegertown, and Ken Feltenberger Jr. and his wife, Victoria, and their family of Pittsburgh; and several cousins. He is also survived by Glenda Swenn, who was like a sister, and her family (Eric, Patty and Maycy Troples of Saegertown, Shannon Krolikowski and her family of Florida, Rudy Troples III and his wife, Lindy, and their family of Hadley); special friends, Craig and JoAnne Dunnewold of Meadville; a very special family member, Sadie the dog, whom he lost a week ago; and many friends too numerous to name.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Kenneth D. Feltenberger.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.

The funeral will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Brumagin, chaplain at Meadville Medical Center, officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
