Published November 02, 2009 10:30 pm - Eleanor Demeres Marron, 82, of Midway Beach, Conneaut Lake, and Lake Worth, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, after a long battle.

CONNEAUT LAKE — Eleanor Demeres Marron, 82, of Midway Beach, Conneaut Lake, and Lake Worth, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, after a long battle.

Eleanor shared 63 years of marriage with her husband, Richard A. Marron.

Eleanor is survived by her two sons, Richard G. and Wilma Marron of Oviedo, Fla., and Bruce and Elaine Marron of Frederick, Md.; and her daughter, Patricia and Mario Carballo of Murphy, N.C. She will be sorrowfully missed by her sister, Betty Lee Wirtz of Ponte Vedra, Fla. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Christopher Marron, Alana Marron, Laura Ayala, Melissa Carballo, Miranda Carballo and Jessie Lynne Carballo. Eleanor also has three great-grandchildren, Mikenna Mondul, Adin Mondul and Morgan Mae Mondul.

She has been preceded in death by her parents, Gustave Pelissier and Etta Greenham-Pelissier; and her two sisters, Helen Grunhart and Patricia Haller.

Eleanor is a graduate of South Hills High School in Pittsburgh and is a retired sales associate for Sears Roebuck. After retirement, she and her husband spent their summers at Conneaut Lake and their winters at Lake Worth. Eleanor is a past president for the Midway Civic Club to which she devoted great attention. She loved going for boat rides around Conneaut Lake, going to the beach, going for walks and cooking with her grandchildren; anything that had to do with family.

Funeral Mass with be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church of Conneaut Lake on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Friends will be received at the church prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please send all donations in memory of Eleanor to Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth St., Conneaut Lake, Pa. 16316.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.
