BUFFALO, N.Y. — Mary B. (Tootsie) Capozzi, 78, of Buffalo, N.Y., formerly of Meadville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009.

In addition to her husband, Albert, of 57 years, Mary is survived by five children, Sharyn Miller and her husband, William, Anthony Capozzi, Kathleen Jeras, Pamela Guenther and her husband, Mark, and Albert Capozzi Jr.; nine grandchildren, Gina O’Kussick and her husband Michael, Dawn Marie Townsell and her husband, Christopher, Nicole Jeras, Meagan Miller, Leah Miller, Hubert Jeras, Mark Guenther Jr., Martin Jeras and Sarah Guenther; three great-grandchildren, Charles Ricci, Danielle Ricci and Grace Townsell; a brother, Norman (Corky) LaBruzzo and his wife, Marie; a sister, Linda GiGante and her husband, Raymond; a sister-in-law, Rose LaBruzzo; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Gus “Captain” LaBruzzo.

Family and friends are invited to call Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville. A scripture service will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, at 10 a.m. on Friday, with Father Rich Toohey, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Brigid Cemetery, Meadville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
