M. Roger Money
JAMESTOWN — M. Roger Money, 74, of 2011 Livingston Road, Jamestown, (South Shenango Township) died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at 10:55 p.m. at home after an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Meadville, to Mark J. and Kathryn C. Jordan Money.
He was a 1954 graduate of Pymatuning Joint High School.
He retired in 2002 as a process engineer from Andover Industries after 43 years of service. In his earlier years, he worked at Blazon of Jamestown.
He attended the Andover Christian Church of Andover, Ohio.
He was a U.S. Army peacetime veteran.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, woodworking, golfing, gardening, camping and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene Gault, whom he married April 16, 1993, at home; one son: M. James Money and wife, Donna, of Espyville; three step-daughters, Dawn Bates and her companion, Josh Parkhurst, of Jamestown, Bonnie Thompson Armour of Mesa, Ariz., Connie Thompson Baumgardner of Bowling Green, Ohio; one step-son, Adam Bates and his companion, Billie Jo Davis of Greenville; one sister, Kathy Gregg of Middletown, N.H.; four granddaughters, Mackenzie Bates, Lilly Parkhurst, Amanda and Jessie Glusic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark J. and Kathryn C. Money; and a sister, Patricia Mullen.
Calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Andover Christian Church, Stillman Avenue, Andover, Ohio.
A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Andover Christian Church with Bob Gears, senior minister of the church, officiating
Interment will be in Espyville Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 3208 Wilmington Road, New Castle, Pa., 16105.
Scott A. Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin St., Stoneboro, is in charge of arrangements.
