CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Leonard L. Szewczyk, 77, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence, 25018 Pinewood Road, Cambridge Springs, on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008.
Born March 3, 1931, in Erie, he was a son of Jennie Grabinski Szewczykz and the late Walter Szewczyk. Following his first marriage, he married Cynthia Peck, who preceded him in death July 2, 1993.
He was a press operator by trade.
Survivors include three daughters, Rose Sszewczyk, Carolyn Nies, and Doris Szewczyk; two sons, Leonard Szewczyk and Tim Berry; two stepbrothers, Victor Paz and Robert Paz; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Leonard was preceded in death in addition by his father and wife, Cynthia; by two stepfathers, Will Duskus and Frank Paz; and a son, Leonard B. Szewczyk.
No visitation or funeral service is planned.
Cremation took place.
Arrangements were under the direction of Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 335 Venango Ave., Cambridge Springs.
