Published September 04, 2008 09:54 pm - CLARION — Edna Mae Moon, 78, of Global Living Center, Clarion, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at Clarion Hospital, after suffering a heart attack. Edna Mae Moon CLARION — Edna Mae Moon, 78, of Global Living Center, Clarion, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at Clarion Hospital, after suffering a heart attack.
She was born in Cherry Tree on Dec. 31, 1929. She enjoyed making quilts for her grandchildren and won many blue ribbons for her quilts. Survivors include a sister, Hayzel Thomas of California; two daughters, Katherine Sampson of Meadville and Christine Garland of Texas; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. The memorial service will be conducted at the Kerrtown Community Building on Sunday at 6 p.m.
