COCHRANTON — Louise N. White, 69, 105 Orchard St., Cochranton, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Meadville.
Born Feb. 1, 1939, in Franklin, she was a daughter of Francis D. and Elsie M. Moore Hitchcock. She married William T. White, June 16, 1959; he survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cochranton Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved to watch athletic events of her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 49 years, she is survived by two daughters, Ann L. Baker and her husband, Eddy, of Cochranton, and Mary E. Smith of Meadville; four grandchildren, Bryanna M. O’Brien and her husband, Charles J., of Meadville, Kyle A. and Ryan E. Smith of Meadville, and Leirin D. Baker of Cochranton; and a sister, June E. Phillips of Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant granddaughter, Brittany Morgan Baker.
Friends may call at Dickson Family Funeral Home Inc., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cochranton Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. J. Harvey Boal of the church officiating.
Interment will be in Cochranton Cemetery.
The family asks that memorials be made to Cochranton Ambulance Service, East Adams Street, or to the Memorial Fund at Cochranton Presbyterian Church, 109 Smith St., both of Cochranton, Pa. 16314.
