Armen Bazoian
MOORPARK, Calif. — Armen Bazoian, 78, of Moorpark, Calif., passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009, due to various health issues he had for more than 20 years.
Born Jan. 27, 1931, in Meadville at 1165 Water St., he was a son of Solomon and Pearl Bazoian.
A Korean War veteran, he honorably served in the U.S. Air Force at the 1125th Intelligence Group at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was a graduate of Meadville High School and Allegheny College and a proud member of Phi Kappa Fraternity.
He enjoyed life and living with a wide variety of interests.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Vartanian; his brothers, Charles and Kirk; nephews, Mark, Michael and Scott Bazoian; a niece, Tracey Vartanian Kazarian; grandnephews, Christian and Matthew Bazoian; and grandnieces, Kristina and Kimberly Kazarian, and Casey and Emmy Bazoian; all of whom he loved very much.
Armen leaves us now to be with his Lord in heaven, leaving a legacy of love, and was loved by many. He lived a full and active life and was a pillar of quiet strength, a wonderful mix of easygoing leadership, fairness, wisdom and humor, who had a positive influence that will keep the memory vivid in the hearts of a great many for years to come.
