John D. (Jack) Hogan
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — John D. (Jack) Hogan of Indianapolis, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.
Jack was born in Meadville, to the late John and Mildred Hogan. Jack married Barbara Zuccaro in Meadville on June 18, 1973. They later moved to Indiana, where Jack worked for Amtrak as a machinist.
He was also a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in Vietnam.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, of 36 years; three daughters, Jodie (Dale) Smith, Nikki (Garry) Goers and Staci (Daniel) Neuhausel; and four grandchildren, Olivia and Elijah Goers, Halle Smith and Brayden Neuhausel. Jack is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Pringle and Peggy (Edward) Dixon; and two brothers, Garry (Kathy) Hogan and David (Joann) Hogan.
Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Pat Hogan.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., with a memorial service at 3 p.m., all at Little and Sons Funeral Home, Stop 11 Chapel, 4901 E. Stop 11 Road., Indianapolis, Ind.
